MUSEUM NOTES: JULY 12, 2017

ARTIST EXHIBIT

Artist Dallas Mayer will continue to show her work through the month of July, in the museum gallery room. This is a fun show, focusing on everything she loves about the ranching life. Stop in to see her show and everything else that the museum has to offer.

AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
This exhibit was a great way to get the public involved, 22 photographs were entered, covering many topics. Museum visitors enjoyed voting for their favorite, which made for a very close race. After tallying all votes cast, the winner was Jan’et Schaef with her black and white cat. Those that entered were; Jaquita Adcock, Dawn Dial, Dana Flowers, Terry Henderson, Cambree Pittman, Colt Pittman, Coy Pittman, Jan’et Schaef and Eric Rowden. If you have not gotten by to see these photographs, they will be on display until the end of the month. We look forward to doing this again next year and hope many of you will be taking pictures throughout the year with this contest in mind.
