MUSEUM NOTES: JUNE 20, 2017



ARTIST EXHIBIT 
 
For the months of June and July, the museum has a One Woman Show, featuring artist Dallas Mayer. “Thorns and Horns, Where the Buffalo Roamed”, depicts life on the ranch seen through Dallas’ eyes. We will be open on July 4th, stop in to meet Dallas, and watch her as she will be doing demonstrations throughout the day.

PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT 
 
This exhibit had been fun getting local community members involved. We have 22 photographs displayed; the deadline for voting has been extended through July 4th. Stop by and vote for your favorite!


GALLERY ROOM 
 
Are you in need of a spacious room for your meeting or gathering? Some of the amenities of the museum gallery room are; catering kitchen, tables, chairs and screen. If you are planning an event at your place of business, home or outdoors, we are your local connection for tables, chairs and tent rental. We are happy to answer questions, give us a call at 323-6548.


GIFT SHOP 
 
If you are looking for a gift for that history buff, we have a wonderful selection of books in stock. Do you know someone who needs to learn to “Speak Texan”? We have a book for that too. Stop in and take a look.

MUSEUM HOURS 
Museum hours are Tuesday-Friday, 9am -5pm, Saturdays from 1-4pm. We will be open for July 4th; our hours will be 11am -4pm.
