2008 COMMUNITY CALENDARS
Want a calendar featuring beautiful color photographs of the Hemphill County area? Looking for a great Christmas gift for your friends and family? Here's your solution....the River Valley Pioneer Museum is selling beautiful 2008 calendars. The photographs featured in this calendar were photographs entered into our Photo Contest. This photo contest attracted 79 photo entries. The public was asked to vote for their favorite twelve photographs which would be featured in our 2008 calendar. The calendar not only includes breathtaking pictures, it also includes over 330 birthday and anniversary dates. We are so excited about this calendar project and hope you will be too by purchasing several for your family and friends. MOTHER/DAUGHTER LUNCHEON
Our second annual Mother/Daughter Luncheon will be held Saturday, May 10th. A program will be presented by Texas romance
novelist Jodi Thomas from Canyon. The lucheon will include lunch, program and a chance to purchase a signed copy of Jodi's latest
book Twisted Creek. This event will be held in the River Valley Pioneer Museum's gallery room. Time and ticket information

ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS:

WATERCOLOR CLASS BY LOCAL ARTIST POLLY TUBB
Session Date: June 17-20th
Registration Fee: $100

SUMMER DAY CAMP
Session Date: June 23-27th
Classes: Wood Working, Sewing, Leather, Cooking
Each class is $10.
We are also making Monogrammed Tote Bags for $15.
Tote's will have "River Valley Pioneer Museum Day Camp.
